Gripps Gap Mat

The GRIPPS Gap Mat is a durable, fire-resistant drop-prevention mat with dedicated anchor points for tethering. With 6x D-Rings covering the mat, tools or equipment are easily attached, providing several anchor points. The Gap Mat is easily secured using cable ties (or similar ties) with the 22 available eyelets surrounding the edges. The Gap Mat allows personnel to work on grid mesh platforms whilst protecting their tools and equipment from falling through the grating and is reusable thanks to the highly durable mesh.

Re-use from job-to-job

With temporary shutdown work and changing contracts, many industrial companies require drop prevention matting for their workers but need a more economical investment. The GRIPPS Gap Mat can easily be detached and relocated. With a quick brush or wash, this mat will be ready to be used for the next job.

Fire Resistant Mesh

Using the same unique material as GRIPPS FR Grid Mesh Matting, the Gap Mat provides fire resistance, making it well-suited to industrial locations at height. Fire-rated to AS1530.3.

Dual-Purpose

The Gap Mat can also be utilised as a barrier for handrails, making it highly functional for workers at height. Suited to a standard handrail height, choose whether to use it for floor or rail protection.

High Visibility

Highly effective in protecting personnel and contractors from dropped objects, the Gap Mat has red PVC edging for high visibility. The coated Poly PVC edging is also fire-rated too.
