Handling Equipment Canterbury (HEC) is based in Christchurch, main city of the province of Canterbury, New Zealand.

Product Testing

HEC is a major provider of facilities for the testing and inspection of Lifting & Height Safety equipment.

After inspection, clients will have the ability to log in to their equipment register at any time to view or download their register and inspection certificates. This flexibility and usability can be of major assistance in expediting processes.

With almost 20 years combined experience testing and certifying all kinds of lifting and height safety equipment in the South Island, our knowledgeable staff have the expertise needed to provide efficient solutions for all of your certification requirements.

We have the capability to source parts both locally and internationally to repair, service and generally keep your lifting equipment in top condition for use in tough industrial environments.
